“Fairyhouse has escaped the worst of the weather affecting the country at the moment. There are currently a small number of areas that give us slight concern, but with the forecast of a thaw & improving temperatures from Friday morning we are optimistic that Saturday’s card will go ahead as planned for an exciting card featuring the SBK Dan & Joan Moore Chase.”
The 15 are headed by Willie Mullins Hunters Yarn who won the beginners chase on the corresponding card 12 months ago .

The field also includes the 2023 Dan Moore winner Pat Foley’s Rebel Gold, the 2023 Bar One Racing Royal Bond winner Farren Glory for Gordon Elliott. Joseph O'Brien fresh from a wonderful Christmas has left Jordans  in the €100,000 feature who was second on his most recent start in the Grade 1 Faugheen Chase at Limerick and will be bidding to continue the yards great run of form. Gavin Crowmell who was another to enjoy a successful Christmas is well represented with Path D’Oroux and The King of Prs.

Fairyhouse Racecourse Manager Peter Roe commented on the current weather conditions;
