culminates in the running of the BoyleSports Irish Grand National on Easter

Day – Saturday 3rd April
The feature race on the day is the RYBO
Handicap Hurdle won in 2019 by Ivanovich Gorbatov for Joseph O'Brien under JJ
Slevin. Saturday also plays host to the Ladies Chase a highly sought-after
race for the female riders.
Gold Cup Day – Sunday 4th April
The Grade 1 Fairyhouse
Gold Cup is the feature race on Easter Sunday, this enthralling contest is run
over two miles and four furlongs and boasts winners of the highest calibre including
Arkle, Like A Butterfly, Al Boum Photo and most recently Voix du Reve.
Boasting a six-figure
prize fund, this illustrious race is sure to attract some of the best novice
chasers around to compete for this coveted prize.
Irish Grand National Day – Monday 5th April
The BoyleSports Irish Grand National, a race which has
become a stalwart at the heart of the Irish sporting calendar is the richest jumps
race in the country, standing at a whopping €400,000.
Won in 2019 the Willie Mullins trained Burrows Saint under Ruby
Walsh just a couple of weeks before the Champion jockey announced his retirement.
It was also the Carlow trainers first win in the 3m 5f contest.
What is unique about the BoyleSports Irish Grand National is that it captures
individuals from every walk of life, not just regular racegoers. People
throughout the country are enthralled by the event and often have various
unique ways of picking a winner.
