3rd April 2021
The Easter Festival opening day is filled with top class racing featuring the 100,000 RYBO Handicap Hurdle and the day also stages the Ladies National.
In 2015 the great Sir AP McCoy rode his last ever race on Irish soil at this meeting to great fanfare with scenes reminiscent of Beatlemania!
In 2016 English trainer Kerry Lee topped off a great festival for her yard with another winner as English Champion Jockey Richard Johnson rode Top Gamble to win in the Grade 2 Normans Grove Chase. What thrills will we have in store for 2021, be here and find out!
The Easter Festival at Fairyhouse is about much more than the outstanding racing. There is great entertainment all weekend long. In 2016 the brilliant Paddy Casey took to the stage after racing to wow the crowds on Easter Monday and Sharon Shannon took to the stage on Easter Sunday. In 2018 and 2019 The Kilkennys played us out with a raucous set to keep the party going long after the racing was finished on both Easter Sunday and Easter Monday! There is also music throughout our hospitality areas over the 3 day Festival.
The racing is complemented with these great musical acts and a real party atmosphere is enjoyed by all in attendance. The 2021 Act will be announced closer to the event!
Leave the car at home and enjoy the Easter Festival Coach Service with our travel partners Marathon Coaches.
